Family hikes and smelling the cows
August 28, 2006

We had a nice family hike in May, over on the coast of the Pacific. Beautiful day and at the turnaround point, most of the hikers decided to climb a beautiful eucalyptus tree. If we could get our whole family up there, it would be a great spot for our annual family Christmas photo! treepeople.jpg
On the way back, sitting on a fence at the old dairy farm, we took a feet portrait- a lot of us in our family have Injinji tsoks as our favorite running, hiking socks, so we took a photo. (more feet on this blog- didn't mean it to be a theme.....) feet.jpg

Reminded of this, because there were LOTS of cows in the area- a real dairy farming area...and this morning, on my early morning run, I smelled cows...which, were we live, means there is a south breeze. Coming from the dairy barns on campus, where happy cows are making good milk.
