I was on a long run last Saturday way out in the country, by a creek, and lo and behold, up the hill from the creek came 12 wild turkeys!!! They were beautiful! I didn't have my camera with me, but Kim has some nice pictures on her website of wild turkeys, so here is one of her photos:

They were gobbling as they ran up the hill and away from me. Here is what they sound like.
