Last Saturday I ran

in a beautiful place- the Headlands - part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA). If you go to this link, there are some beautiful photos of the area and previous racers. Here is the mountain I climbed and ran at the top of in the first mile and a half (whew!)
This
is a view we had towards the end of the race, looking back towards the Golden Gate bridge. It was a beautiful day, an incredibly gorgeous day, spent with good friends and family


and meeting new friends. So thankful I could do it!
