20 mile Fun Run in the high hot Bishop desert.
Was a good run, well directed (thanks, Marie!) and great aid
stations with great workers.
Not used to the high altitude- and so sandy- hard running
uphill in the sand. After I hit the aid station where they said 7.8 miles to
go, I flew downhill the rest of the way, never walked. So anxious to finish!
Nice trip! None of these photos are mine- from previous races-
NO one in my family who was on the trip saw me run or finish!
God was watching over me in the high desert, with those
beautiful huge, snowy peaks, and He saw.
